Top Of The Rock has a fabulous front combined with a beautiful length of rein. With plenty of depth, substance, and quality bone. Absolutely breath-taking movement, inheriting his sires off the floor paces. His striking look at me presence drawing people in from the moment they meet him.

His temperament is second to none, and his kind and easy outlook on life make him an absolute pleasure to work with.

Competition

Rocco as he is known at home has more than excelled in his first two years competing in hand. Being unbeaten in his Non-Native Coloured classes.

Winning at Royal Cheshire Show and Great Yorkshire Show, also securing the coloured championship at this prestigious show. Rocco also took Reserve Supreme Of Show at Thompson House Spring Show, as well as taking Reserve Supreme In hand at CHAPS Northeast Regional qualifying for King Of The Ring Finals. In 2023 at his only outing he stood 1st & Champion Coloured at Derbyshire Festival.

Rocco finished his season in 2022 gaining first premium at his young-stock evaluations gaining near perfect scores. In 2023 he was licensed with SPSS with fabulous comments from graders and showing great promise over fences. In 2024 he will slowly begin his education under saddle.

Breeding

He has an impressive pedigree with some of the best proven lines from Europe. His Dam has many successful competition horses within her breeding lines, with success in eventing and show jumping. Her sire Greenbank Harlequin being an advanced eventer, also showing success in show jumping winning the 1.20m Show Jumping at Hickstead.

His CHAPS & AES Licensed Sire (Royal Affair) with equally impressive blood lines with a long history of proven success in all spheres of eventing, dressage and jumping. Royal Affair himself having much success in the show ring in hand and a few wins under saddle as he starts out his ridden career. He has sire many successful progeny. With wins at most major county shows. His sire Co-pilot has also sired many successful progenies including the NNP HOYS winner 2015 Flying Solo.

Rocco’s pedigree combines many prolific stallions, including Samber Grand Prix dressage and show jumping stallion. He is sire to over 1500 progeny with 50% being coloured. He produced versatile offspring succeeding in all Olympic disciplines and remains the only coloured stallion to have been approved with the K.W.P.N. – at present. His pedigree also includes Charleston Esquire, Holland, Samson, and Monte Carlo, combining many stallions from the world’s leading studbooks.
